Polish motifs in the Diary of Miguel Torga

The Diary is a hallmark in Portuguese literature because of its meaningful representations of political and intellectual life in Portugal of more than 60 years. The originality of Torga’s work consists also in his particular ethic sensibility whose commentary about the events always contain a philosophical reflection. This article is a review and a comment on the reflections of Miguel Torga about the events of the 80s and 90s in the 20^th century in Poland.
