Teleonomy and biological evolution
In this article I take into consideration the complex process of biological evolution in respect of its teleonomy, i.e. its non-purposeful, non-intentional directedness. I seek to find a balance between the concept of “pure contingency” of evolution, and the anthropocentric or rather theocentric concept of intelligent design ID.
