Socialists or politicians? Political activity of the plenipotentiaries of the Congress of Women
The article analyzes the activity of the representatives of the Congress of Women association as candidates in the 2018 local elections. The Congress of Women declares that it is an association supporting all candidates from various election committees who are close to the demands of the Congress social movement. It was demonstrated from which election committees the candidates — plenipotentiaries — originated, and what results they achieved. At the same time, the topic of definitions related to the concepts of “social worker” and “politicians” was raised, in order to explore whether they are treated synonymously and what value meaning is given to these issues.
