Between home and city. Conquest and appropriation of public space by youth subcultures
This paper analyses the subcultural methods to space appropriations. The process of appropriation is understood as individual or grouping creations, choice, possession, modifications, enhancement of, care for and intentional use of a space to make it one’s own. From an actor perspective, youth subculture members, as any differently groups can compete for space.
