Abstrakt

Tomasz Domanski’s garden with sculptures in Komorowice in Lower Silesia is a continuation of his efforts to present complex issues of time in works of art. In this spatial composition, earlier public actions showing the passage of time were replaced by attempts to record private time in works of meditative and contemplative nature. However, no private time is able to separate itself from the problems of the community. The escapism growing in Domański’s garden utopia is a reversed picture of the crisis that has marked the fate of Europe in the first two decades of the 21st century.
