In the 2026 issue of Roczniki Biblioteczne (Library Annals), we propose to focus on publishing studies (PS), looking at both educational programmes and the academic development of this discipline. We are particularly interested in papers going beyond a descriptive approach, critically examining the tradition of PS in particular academic centres and providing substantive insights into the local changes in both academia and the publishing industry, which legitimise and shape such studies and educational training.
