This article discusses the issue of collective security constructions in Wrocław in the 1932–1945 period. The author focused mainly on presenting the achievements of German civil defense (Luftschutz) in the engineering preparation of the city to resist the effects of air war. The main research question of this study was the process of constructing anti-aircraft shelters and refuges in Wrocław.
