Abstrakt
The article presents a biography of Jan Styliński (1897–1962), soldier of the Polish Legions, district commander of the Polish Military Organisation in Tarnów (1918), veteran of the Polish-Soviet War, officer of the Polish Army, veteran of the 1939 campaign, and later officer of the underground structures of the Union of Armed Struggle/Home Army. After the end of World War II, he moved to Wrocław, where he was forced to go into hiding until 1956 under the name of Jan Szeligowski. The author uses previously unknown archival materials in his text.
