Abstract

The paper focuses on the beginnings of the Hradec Králové municipal chancellery and aims to prove that the Silesian region, which with its experience of municipal official activities, contributed through the established Silesian–Bohemian and Bohemian– Silesian contacts to the creation of the oldest Hradec court book based on Magdeburg law.
