Open access

Śląski Kwartalnik Historyczny Sobótka is an open access journal. The publisher guarantees free and permanent online access to the content of every issue, with no embargo period and no technical barriers, including no requirement for users to register to read content.

Copyright and licensing

Authors retain the copyright to their articles (© Author) and grant the publisher of the journal a non-exclusive licence for the publication of the paper, free of charge.

Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0), a copy of which is available at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/.

This licence allows you to share and adapt the published content on the condition that you give appropriate credit, provide a link to the licence, and indicate if changes were made.

The use of archival articles not offered under a Creative Commons licence is possible in accordance with the appropriate provisions on permitted use or other exceptions provided for by law, and wider use requires the consent of the copyright owner.

As part of private use, it is possible to copy and share the work for the needs of individual persons and persons from their family and social circle. Permitted public use includes actions such as citing or copying and sharing the work for educational and scholarly purposes.

Repositories and archiving

Authors can archive their articles as a preprint, postprint or as its final version published in the journal on the condition that the information that the text first appeared in Śląski Kwartalnik Historyczny Sobótka is provided.

The journal is archived in both print and electronic format by the National Library of Poland.
