Taboo principle from a rhetorical point of view

The essay is devoted to reconstruction of taboo principle viewed as a mode aimed at persuasion. Persuasion is realized by means of presuppositions accompanied by expressis verbis produced statements enunciations. Presuppositions are hidden behind surface of this communication and have to be reconstructed by recipients. In this communicative context taboo principle is broken by senders on the level of presuppositions but not on the level of statements – enunciations.
