The functions of diminutives in the denomination of body parts
The article attempts to describe the functions which diminutives perform in denomination of body parts. Several groups of diminutives naming parts of the body have been discussed, in whose meaning next to the information about a small smaller size there are also various additional semantic components, primarily related to the emotional nature of the word.
