Language indicators of power in office
The aim of the paper is to describe the language dimension of the use of power in official discourse, an indication how the power understood as the current decision-maker, on the basis of legal regulations, regulates social relationships between state bodies and citizens, and also between the state bodies themselves and the officers appointed to fulfill the duties specified by the state. It also presents the changes in the language of power under the influence of new social and political circumstances, noticed in Poland especially after 1989.
