MODERN AGRICULTURE CAN SIGNIFICANTLY CONTRIBUTE TO ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
At the same time, certain agricultural usages may cause severe environmental harm. That is one reason why Article 11 TFEU claims that environmental protection requirements must be integrated into the definition and implementation of all of the Union’s policies and activities, e.g. in the common agriculture and fisheries policy Articles 38 ff. TFEU.
