Przegląd Prawa i Administracji (Law and Administration Review) has been published continuously since 1969. Currently, the Editor-in-Chief is prof. dr hab. Mariusz Jabłoński. The journal is published four times a year.

Przegląd publishes scholarly articles in the field of law, including the history of law and issues of administration and economics. The structure and assumptions of Przegląd enable the publication of studies by authors outside the Faculty of Law and Administration, including works by foreign authors. The papers are published in Polish, English, French and German. In this way, the publications of Przegląd aim to reach the widest possible audience, both those involved scientifically and professionally in the issues of law and economics, as well as students and other people interested in issues in the field of Polish law and the legal systems of other countries.

The adopted programme assumptions ensure that Przegląd Prawa i Administracji can publish studies on the analysis of the case law of the judicial authorities and administrative decisions. In addition, Przegląd is a journal that publishes reviews of academic works and communications devoted to scientific conferences organized in Poland and in other countries. Works in the form of scientific opinions and expert opinions on a specific topic related to the interpretation and application of law can also be submitted to Przegląd.

Studies submitted to Przegląd are assessed in terms of the subject matter that is taken up in them, which becomes the basis for classifying a specific author’s position in individual problem areas (e.g., theory of law, civil law, criminal law, history of law, etc.).

From 1969 to 2023, 134 issues of Przegląd Prawa i Administracji were published. Each issue of Przegląd is subject to external review and consists of approximately 10 publishing sheets.

Przegląd Prawa i Administracji is an open access journal. The publisher guarantees free and permanent online access to the content of every issue, with no embargo period and no technical barriers, including no requirement for users to register to read content.

From 2015 authors retain copyright and full publishing rights to their articles (© Author) and grant the publisher of the journal a non-exclusive licence for the publication of the paper, free of charge.

From 2024 articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0), a copy of which is available at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/.

 

This licence allows you to share and adapt the published content on the condition that you give appropriate credit, provide a link to the licence, and indicate if changes were made.

 

Repositories and archiving

Authors can archive their articles as a preprint, postprint or as its final version published in the journal on the condition that the information that the text first appeared in Przegląd Prawa i Administracji is provided.
