Romanica Wratislaviensia publishes papers by Polish and foreign researchers in literature, culture and languages of the Romance countries (also in a transdisciplinary, comparative and translation studies approach). The articles are usually published in French, but also in Spanish, Italian and Polish.
The journal’s issues are thematic, and their editors are selected among specialists in the field of the selected topics. Apart from the articles in the main section, each issue also contains a section of Varia which collects miscellaneous works, and a Comptes rendus section which presents reviews of recent works in the field of Romance Studies or related fields.
Abstracts of articles published in "Romanica Wratislaviensia" can be found in the database of scientific journals Czasopisma Naukowe w Sieci (CNS) and in the The Central European Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities (on the basis of an appropriate agreement between WUWr and CEJSH). Thanks to the agreement of the Publisher with the MLA Directory of Periodicals, copies of the journal are also sent to the Cambridge Scientific Abstracts (CSA, ProQuest). The journal is also indexed on the EBSCO Information Services (on the basis of an appropriate agreement between WUWr and EBSCO), as well as in the Federation of Digital Libraries and European.
