Peace on Earth by Stanisław Lem: The diversity of genres and styles and its translation into Spanish

The article centres on the peculiarities of the translation of the novel Peace on Earth by Stanisław Lem into Spanish, recently published by Cátedra, being the first version of this book in Spanish. By means of a linguistic and pragmatic reflection, bearing in mind the nature of the oeuvre of the great Polish writer as well as the characteristics of the novel in question, the article proposes an analysis of the importance for translation of the numerous genres and styles as the main distinctive features of the work.
