Convention and language taboo
The aim of the article is to present the relations between convention and language taboo as a culture-language category. The author points out four taboo components inherent in amusement taboo and convention relations, which are as follows:
1. taboo is a social behavior,
2. taboo is independent of experience,
3. taboo is an unwritten agreement,
4. taboo is mandatory.
In conclusion, the author proposes a research into language taboo in order to reconstruct the linguistic image of the world of a given community.
