The scholarly journal Prawo [Law], issued by the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics, University of Wrocław, has been published continuously since 1962. It is a continuation of the periodical Zeszyty Naukowe. Seria A. Prawo [Scholarly Papers. Series A. Law], published from 1956.

The journal presents results of research dealing with law and administration. Studies and papers published in Prawo present theoretical approaches to legal constructs, corresponding to the various branches of law, both public and private, as well as related sciences. Separate volumes of Studia Historycznoprawne [Historical Legal Studies] are also published as part of the “Acta Universitatis Wratislaviensis. Prawo” journal, featuring papers exploring broadly defined historical legal topics.

The task of the journal is to disseminate the latest results of legal studies conducted in various centres, both in Poland and other countries. The papers are published in Polish and in foreign languages: English, German, Russian, French, Spanish, and Italian.

Abstracts of the papers can be found in the Czasopisma Naukowe w Sieci (CNS) (Academic Journals on the Web) database, as well as CEEOL, the Central European Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities database, Digital Library Federation and Europeana.

The journal is also indexed in Erih Plus.
