Papers (from 20,000 to 40,000 characters, in Polish or English, with up to 10 illustrations) should be submitted in format specified in the guidelines to the address: quart@uwr.edu.pl in accordance with the indicated deadlines.
The editors reserve the right to select the submitted papers. All the submitted papers will be subject to a double-blind review process, in line with COPE guidelines (see Peer review).
“Quart” does not charge any fees for the publication or submission of a text. At the same time we regret to inform you that we cannot provide Authors of submitted texts with an honorarium.
Articles must be accompanied by a scan of the completed and signed author statement (see below).

From 2006 authors retain the copyright to their articles (© Author) and full publishing rights without restrictions and grant the publisher of the journal a non-exclusive licence for the publication of the paper, free of charge.
In the years 2013–2023 articles were published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License. From 2024 articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0), a copy of which is available at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/.
This licence allows you to share and adapt the published content on the condition that you give appropriate credit, provide a link to the licence, and indicate if changes were made.
Authors can archive their articles as a preprint, postprint or as its final version published in the journal on the condition that the information that the text first appeared in “Quart” is provided.
The journal is archived in both print and electronic format by the National Library of Poland.
