Theatre prints of Gilbert y Tutó: publishing politics
Before the literary text reaches the readers, critics or bibliographers, it often experiences various editorial adventures. The article deals with the story of Carlos Gibert y Tutó, a Catalonian publisher who worked in 18th century. It presents the publishing policy he used to compete with other publishers in Barcelona at the time of The Enlightenment, focusing mainly on the example of dramas he edited.
