Public Policies as a Measure of the State’s Influence on the Economy

Abstract

Nowadays, no one has any doubts that economic planning is one of the most important functions of the state’s influence on the economy. The state is more and more actively involved in the preparation of detailed public policies aimed at achieving public goals in the economy. Recently, we had a chance to observe particular activities of public authorities in the area of public procurement. The author attempts to analyze the development of strategic planning of the state with the use of public policies.
