Comments on the Selective Extension of Consumer Protection to Certain Entrepreneurs Who Are Natural Persons

PDF (Język Polski)

Abstract

The article presents a critical assessment of the idea and method of extending consumer protection to certain entrepreneurs who are natural persons by applying to them provisions regulating consumer protection in selected issues, that is, unlawful contractual provisions, warranty for defects in the sold item, and the consumer right to withdraw from an off-premises or distance contract. These legislative activities were found to violate the systemic and axiological principles of lawmaking.
