Abstract

One of the most important authors of the New Novel, Claude Simon, perceives scriptural work as being in correlation with mathematical concepts, such as symmetry and geometrics, which manifest themselves both structurally and thematically. Simon takes advantage of mathematical precision to get to a very essence of things such as movement or vision, which are considered in their most fundamental aspects.
