Abstrakt

The article discusses the cinematic works of Patryk Vega, with particular emphasis on his action movies. By analyzing the action elements in his films, their plot and narrative structures, the structure of characters and the relations between them, the author seeks to answer the question what exactly is the ideological message the artist serves to his viewers. The director refers to his conviction about the conspiratorial ordering of the world, smuggles a grim and pessimistic worldview into his films and rarely gives the viewer even a glimmer of hope for a way out of the snare. Faith in God is presented as a kind of salvation. However, it turns out to be a false chance for redemption in a world without God.
