Городельская уния в 600. годовщину. 1413–2013
Польско-литовские унии — это обширная и несомненно в некотором смысле актуальная тема. Связи Польши и Литвы на протяжении нескольких столетий, охватывающие территориально значительную часть Центральной и Восточной Европы, фактически являются, можно так сказать, «предысторией» сегодняшнего Европейского Союза и идеи равноправного союза европейских народов. Статья охватывает, в трех выделенных частях, историографические и исследовательские вопросы, связанные с современной рецепцией польско-литовской унии, подписанной в Городло и ролью этого договора для исторических достижений на протяжении нескольких последних столетий. В контексте представленных мнений и в связи с прогрессом научных исследований по польско-литовским отношениям в прошлом, а также в отношении представления современных исследований по вопросам польско-литовских связей с XIV пo XIX век, особого внималитовским отношениям в прошлом, а также в отношении представления современных ния заслуживает замосцинская встреча занимающихся этим вопросом исследователей из Польши и заграницы в рамках международной конференции под заглавием: „Уния в Городло на фоне польско-литовских отношений от Крево до Закона о взаимных гарантиях обоих народов” Замосць 27–28 сентября 2013 года. Конференцию под почетным патронатом Президента РП Бронислава Коморовского организовали: Общество потомков Великого сейма, город Замосць, Замосцинский музей в городе Замосць, Музей истории Польши, Центр исследований Восточной Европы Варшавского университета, Институт Великого княжества Литовского в Каунас и Польское геральдическое общество.

The Union of Horodło on its 600th anniversary. 1413–2013
Polish-Lithuanian unions are a vast topic, undoubtedly still relevant today in some respects. The issues concerning the relationship between Poland and Lithuania, spread over several centuries and covering a large part of Central and Eastern Europe, are indeed — we could say — a “prehistory” of today’s European Union and the idea of a union of equal European nations. The article covers, in three separate parts, historiographic and research questions relating to the contemporary reception of the Polish-Lithuanian union concluded in Horodło and its contribution to the historic achievements of the Polish-Lithuanian state over the last few centuries. In the context of the opinions presented and the progress of studies into the Polish-Lithuanian relations in the past, as well as in the context of modern research into the Polish-Lithuanian relations between the 14th and the 19th centuries, particularly worthy of note is a meeting of Polish and foreign scholars studying these issues during an international conference entitled “The Union of Horodło against the background of Polish-Lithuanian relations from Kreva to the Mutual Pledge of the Two Nations” Zamość, 27–28 September 2013. The conference, under the honorary patronage of the President of Poland, Bronisław Komorowski, was organised by the Society of the Descendants of the Great Sejm, City of Zamość, Museum of Zamość, Polish History Museum, Centre for East European Studies at the University of Warsaw, Institute of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in Kaunas and Polish Heraldic Society.
