Sometimes it may be a challenge to understand Zambrano’s works; this paper assumes it and therefore aims to elucidate some of subjects in her work, Man and divinity, where Zambrano uses poetic reason to explain religious experience by studying the meaning of gods, the sacred, and human attitudes toward the divinity. The man confronts the gods, resists, and this dialectic of confrontation and destruction may be explain as a discontinuous conception of alterity.
