Abstrakt

The following text deals with the category of theological thriller. It considers this phenomenon in the prism of poetics, which is characteristic for thriller and follow through the specific for this subgenre innovation, both in the sphere of narration and fictional. The author attempts to extract the essential tricks, which are present in this type of literature, and the specific manipulation of religious motifs. Performed analysis allowed to outline the paradigm of themes and elements used in fictional construction and their overliterary conditions.
