Abstract

A study of the disappointment based on the example of “Mała Fantastyka”

The article presents the contents of a valuable magazine for children “Mała Fantastyka” which appeared just ten times from 1987 to 1990. The editors skilfully combining entertaining and educational function of the magazine. Reasons for suspending “Mała Fantastyka” indicated by the author concerned not only changes on the publishing market, which occured after the dissolution of Wydawnictwo Prasowe RSW “Książka-Prasa-Ruch,” but were also motivated by the editor’s disappointment with low intellectual level presented by young readers.
