PEER-REVIEW GUIDELINES – regarding texts submitted to „MISCELLANEA POSTTOTALITARIANA WRATISLAVIENSIA”

1. All texts submitted to „MISCELLANEA POSTTOTALITARIANA WRATISLAVIENSIA” are peer-reviewed.

2. In accordance with the current copyright law and related rights, authors of the texts submitted for publication in „MISCELLANEA POSTTOTALITARIANA WRATISLAVIENSIA” are fully responsible for their authenticity and originality.

3. The Editor-in-Chief in consultation with the Thematic Editor appoints two independent reviewers: one foreign and one from a Polish academic center not related to the workplace of the author of the reviewed text.

4. The Editorial board ensures that no reporting relationship or direct scientific cooperation have existed between the author and the reviewer in the past two years prior to reviewing.

5. All submitted articles undergo a double-blind review process prior to acceptance. The identities of the authors are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa.

6. The names of the reviewers are not disclosed to the authors.

7. Reviewers shall issue their opinions on the acceptance or ineligibility of the reviewed text for publication taking into account, inter alia, such criteria as compliance with the journal’s profile; the innovative approach to the subject; the adequacy of the methodology used; the validity of the references used; and the contribution of the conclusions to the state of research.

8. Each review is submitted in a hard copy and contains a clear qualifying proposal.

9. The final decision to include a reviewed text in „MISCELLANEA POSTTOTALITARIANA WRATISLAVIENSIA” belongs to the Editor-in-Chief and the Thematic Editor of the volume.

10. Hard copies of the reviewed texts and the reviews are stored in the archive of the editorial board.
