“John, we come back to you to those linden trees of Czarnolas.” Polish source-related traditions in the forms of literary and cultural modernity (selections — repetitions — differences)
The subject of the article — developed through the literary and cultural contexts of contem-porary literature — concentrates mainly on different forms of the presence of tradition (targeting the Romantic one as key and the Old Polish as the subsequent one). A look at the styles and tones of the literature-“thriving” languages of these traditions allows us to see these traditions in a different critical light (national symbols/Polish signs/patters/transformations).
