Abstract

Lucía Egaña presents a vision of transfeminist takeover of capitalist technologies through their reconnection with bodily experience. Power operates on bodies, so the question of transfeminist technology is a question of dissident forms of embodiment. According to Egaña, through them we can transform our relationship with technology by introducing errors and disruptions into it. She argues for opening up codes—computer and cultural—and reusing them to create bottom-up, non-patentable and dissident forms of techno-embodiment.
