Walka ze stereotypem roli kobiety w kinie współczesnym

Abstrakt

The aim of the article is to review contemporary films portraying women and to consider what problems female characters face and how they are presented. A significant part of the analysis is focused on portrayals of the struggle against the stereotypes to which the protagonists are subject — and assessing how much film has changed in that regard over the years, both diegetically and extra-diegetically. The article also looks into the form of selected (color) films, the images of marriage and motherhood, as well as the search for clues in youth cinema.
