The journal Studia nad Faszyzmem i Zbrodniami Hitlerowskimi (Studies of Fascism and Nazi Crimes) was founded in 1974 on the initiative of Prof. Karol Jonca, who died in 2008. Since the collapse of the communist regime – in addition to examining totalitarian (communist, Nazi and fascist) crimes in historical terms and analysed from the point of view of law – the periodical has been examining the phenomena of fascism, communism and Nazism with regard to the doctrine, political science, ideology, sociology, psychology, religious studies and economics.
