Does Kant’s political philosophy agree with the assumptions of his project of critical philosophy? On the internal contradictionof Kantian teleology

The paper discusses Immanuel Kant’s political philosophy. This philosophy postulates a social organization in which propertied citoyens are supposed to be able to rise above their particular interest, which they have as bourgeois, in order to lay down universal laws that will enable the society to develop properly. Kant believed that this will be the right way for humankind to make advancements towards common happiness. In my paper I show that with this belief the German philosopher fell into a self-contradiction with assumptions of his own critical phil-osophy. To demonstrate this, I start with a discussion of the theoretical rationale underlying Kant’s teleology. Then I put this teleology in Kantian concept of Judgment and, on the canvas of this concept, I show how the German philosopher falls into the mentioned self-contradiction.
