Citizen participation and public management in local social policy and social assistance
The consequence of long lasting socio-political and economic transformations in Poland has been the change of public management paradigm and paying attention to the necessity of greater participation of civil sector actors in the process of public services provision and local development programs implementation. The main purpose of this article is to present the importance of citizen participation in the public management at the local level, especially in the area of local social policy.
