Abstrakt

Social economy as an instrument of professional activation of youth. The analysis of systematic solutions

The aim of the paper is to diagnose and analyze the solutions adopted by the institutions of the European Union in the field of youth policy and social economy and recognize the activities implemented in Poland in the mentioned areas. The main focus of the analytical work and evaluation process involves issue related to two dimensions: youth problems connected with the labor market and possibility of using social economy to overcome the difficult social situation of young people. The major claim put forward in the paper concerns an inadequacy of regulations, lack of coordination of the youth activities implemented by the public institutions and low awareness of the possibilities offered by social economy sector that can be observed in Poland. The analytical and evaluative work carried out in the paper is based mainly on existing data contained in legal acts, strategic documents and policy reports. Literature of the subject, both Polish and foreign, forms the background and a reference point for the paper’s contents and conclusions.
