The author of the article examines the involvement of Polish political exiles in the development of the hotel industry in the Zabaykalsky Krai. Drawing on a wide range of historical sources, the author presents the work of Polish exiles in large towns of the Zabaykalsky Krai aimed at maintaining inns and hotels.
