Abstrakt

The post-totalitarian reality and the situation of the Ukrainian computer terminology

In the article we consider the situation of the Ukrainian computer terminology its origins: the 60s and 70s, as well as present status first of all in the context of the Russian influence within the language, in the economy and the social sphere. There are shortly presented some problems associated with the history of the creation of Ukrainian computer terminology, with the legislation and functioning of this terminology for example: Ukrainian translation of the IT products, the presence of Russian conceptual base for science, technique, technology and the problem of borrowings.

Посттоталітарна дійсність а ситуація української комп’ютерної лексики

У статті обговорено ситуацію української комп’ютерної лексики її початки у 60-х, 70-х рр. ХХ ст., але й сучасний стан передусім у відношенні до російських впливів, як у мові, так і в економії, чи у сфері соціуму. Коротко описано історію виникнення української комп’ютерної лексики, юридичні обставини, в межах яких вона існує, висвітлено проблемні позиції пов’язані з її функціонуванням українська локалізація програмних продуктів, „спадщина” російської поняттєвої бази в області науки, техніки, технології, проблема запозичень тощо.
