The presented volume is related to current problems in the field of document research and fingerprint examinations. In particular, it includes original articles related to new developments in the field of handwriting research and questioned document examination as well as the use of documents for the purpose of fingerprint evidence and committing a crime. It should be emphasized that the specificity of handwriting analysis, QDE, and fingerprint examinations as well as the interdisciplinary character of the research require international cooperation and discussion. The volume is a valuable source of knowledge on selected problems of fingerprint examination and contemporary advances in scientific document examination.
