The journal Neerlandica Wratislaviensia is the oldest academic journal on the field of the Dutch studies in Central and Eastern Europe. It is published once a year. We publish scholarly texts in Dutch, English, Afrikaans and German. The journal’s research areas include linguistics in the broadest sense of the term (confrontational, didactic and translational), Dutch literature and culture over a wide range of time (from the Middle Ages to the present day), which includes the areas of present-day Netherlands and Flanders as well as the former Dutch colonies: Indonesia, South Africa, Congo and Suriname. Much attention in our journal is devoted to the reception of Dutch literature and culture in Poland and Central Europe and to comparative studies.
