The journal is a DOAJ golden OA outlet and does not collect any fees neither from the authors not the readers. Any publication in the journal is open immediately and complicit with any OA requirements.

The journal publishes original articles addressing problems in political philosophy, critical social science, historical materialism, historical sociology, anthropology of globalization, discourse analysis, cultural theory, social theory and intellectual history.
The journal has a worldwide reach. Our main goal is to publish original articles in the fields mentioned above, characterized at the same time by high political and critical potential. Particular emphasis is placed on materialist reflection on Central and Eastern Europe, as well as the transregional linking of research perspectives.
