Young Poles and the risk of old age

Abstract

According to the quantitative study of the Institute of Public Affairs and Millward Brown in 2016 titled “Knowledge and attitudes towards social insurance”, young age is an important feature accompanying the low level of knowledge about social insurance. The article analyzes the answers of people participating in this study aged 15–24 who refer to attitudes towards the risk of old age. The article concludes with reflections on the need for interdisciplinary research in the area of effectively raising the level of insurance risk awareness among the young part of Polish society.
