The aim of the study is to present the principle of equal treatment and the prohibition of discrimination in employment. Particular attention was paid to the provisions of the Labour Code. The author seeks answers to the following questions: is each unequal treatment the basis for the allegation of discrimination and whether a person performing work under civil law contracts has the opportunity to exercise their rights in the field of equal treatment and the prohibition of discrimination.
