Human resources in non-governmental organizations. Comparative analysis of Poland and Ukraine
While working in NGOs is associated with social work, work for others, charity work; proactive, non-governmental organizations are still a place of professional work for a very large number of people. The activities of non-governmental organizations in each country involve a lot of people as members, employees, officers, and volunteers. Human resources in NGOs are a very valuable, but at the same time very specific, asset. This article is an attempt to demonstrate the specificity of human resources in the Polish and Ukrainian non-governmental organizations. It is also interesting to understand the motivation of social activists engaging in charitable work in both countries. Currently in Poland civic activities are mainly caused by social targets and activities, while in Ukraine we currently observe a large increase in civic activity as a result of the political situation.
