Abstract

Strategies for solving social problems as an example of local social policy realization

The article discusses some responsibilities of the local governments in the development and implementation of strategies for solving social problems. First, the concept of “strategy” is defined as well as its principles and stages of its construction and renovation. The second part of the paper describes several examples of records in four key strategic areas of the society: health, education, social welfare and alcohol and drug addiction.
