Abstract

The objective of the article is to present the possibilities of the assumptions to infor-mation asymmetry theory to operate in the public procurement market. To this end, the foundations of transaction cost theory are outlined, together with its related agency relations, and the legal tools enabling a reduction in information asymmetry were are specified.
