The text familiarises the practical adoption of the principle of conducting administrative proceedings in a trustworthy way and the principle of informing. Both general principles, established by the Code of Administrative Proceedings are crucial when it comes to the rights of citizen before the imperiously acting public authority. The article presents the content of both principles, turning attention to the inaccuracies risen during the interpretation of both provisions. Next, the text analyses the guarantees of these principles not only from the Code’s perspective. Basing on the judicature and doctrinal views the article shows the minor principles of administrative proceedings, which can be interpreted from the contents of articles 8 and 9 of the Code.
