Abstract

Issues related to the writer’s attitude towards his family, Polish literature have been discussed in connection with the hundredth anniversary of Poland regaining its independence falling in 2018. Social and national issues appeared in the works of Salomea Kapuścińska at the turn of the 1970s and 1980s. The Zmilczenia poetry collection (1980), containing references, among others to Słowacki and Sienkiewicz, was not fully legible before the edition of works remaining until 2018 in a typescript form and showing the rebellion of the great Solidarity from the perspective of the Romantic tradition.
