Open access
Roczniki Biblioteczne is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or their institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. There is no embargo period and no requirement for users to register to read content. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.
Licensing and copyright
Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0), a copy of which is available at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/.
This licence allows you to share and adapt the published content on the condition that you give appropriate credit, provide a link to the licence, and indicate if changes were made.
Authors retain the copyright to their articles and grant the publisher of the journal a non-exclusive licence for the publication of the paper, free of charge.
Repositories and archiving
The Editors of Roczniki Biblioteczne allow the author to archive their text as a preprint, postprint or as its final version published in the journal on the condition that the information that the text has first appeared in Roczniki Biblioteczne is provided.
The journal is archived in both print and electronic formats by the National Library of Poland.
